Born in the winter of 1961, Etta Endito hails from the Tanglewater and Bitterwater Clans. Growing up in Crownpoint, NM, she learned the art of jewelry-making from her mother. Etta's passion for crafting jewelry blossomed during her formative years, and by the time she completed high school, she had already developed her own distinctive style. Additionally, Rita Lee, another talented Navajo artist, has been a significant influence on Etta's artistic journey, providing mentorship and inspiration along the way.
