Ray Bennet is a Navajo artist and has been a silversmith since 1994. He lives in Gallup, New Mexico, where he was born and raised. He learned his craft from his family members, including his parents and uncles. From a young age, he was inspired by the natural beauty of the Southwestern landscape and the intricate designs of traditional Navajo jewelry. He pursued formal education in jewelry making and fine arts, studying under esteemed mentors who helped him refine his skills and develop his distinctive style.
